I spent a sunny Oakland afternoon with Tayleur and Maude, the creative duo behind Gold Beams (formerly Second Mondays) for The Lesser Known Quarterly. The two of them are bringing the spoken word community together, giving their peers a platform to perform, hosting open mic events., workshops and consulting the community.
